    How do SMS job alerts work?

    SMS job alerts are currently available in Canada and the US only.

    To start receiving them, create a free account and turn on SMS alerts in your notification settings.

    To stop them, reply "STOP" to any alert text and we'll pause future messages. You can opt back in anytime.

    You're always in control of your alerts. If something isn't working or you have a concern, contact us and we'll help.

    How do I get more relevant job alerts?

    Getting alerts that don't match what you want is frustrating — here's how to sharpen them:

    1. Sign in to your account.
    2. Open "My notifications" from the "My account" menu.
    3. Select "Personalize my jobs".

    From there, use the Keywords and Location tabs to set exactly what you want to see. Tip: specific job titles work better than broad keywords.

    How do I change the language of my job alerts?

    Your alerts follow the language of the Talent.com site you use, which is set automatically based on where you're searching from.

    On country sites that offer more than one language, you'll find a language toggle in the top-right corner, next to the sign-in button. Switch languages there, then search and interact with the jobs you want — our system will start sending alerts in that language.

    Why am I not receiving job alerts?

    If your alerts have stopped arriving, here are the most common reasons and fixes:

    • Check your spam or junk folder and mark any Talent.com email as "not spam".
    • Add no-reply@talent.com to your contacts so your provider doesn't block our emails. This can take up to a day to take effect.
    • Sign in and confirm your preferences under "My notifications" are still set.

    How do I unsubscribe from email alerts?

    You can stop job alert emails in a couple of ways:

    • Click the "Unsubscribe" link at the bottom of any job alert email.
    • Or sign in, go to Settings → "My notifications", and adjust or turn off your alerts there.

    Prefer to keep your alerts but make them more relevant? Update your keywords and location under "Personalize my jobs" instead.
